Join the Department of Watershed Management for our 2nd Annual Trick or Treatment Tour!
Are you looking for a special “treat” for Halloween and a chance to learn more about Atlanta’s water treatment process? Join the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management for the 2nd Annual Trick or Treatment Tour on October 31at 5 p.m. at the Hemphill Water Treatment Plant (WTP) located at 650 17th Street NW.
This event is FREE! Guests are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes. Bring the family and invite friends to tag along to enjoy a lawn screening of the movie, Spiderman Homecoming at 7 p.m. Plus, the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department presents the Smokehouse, a mobile simulation for fire safety education. Don’t miss your chance to also experience The Play Mobile, a recreation center on wheels, with free activities and games for children, including non-traditional sports, fitness demos, arts and crafts.
Participants can also enjoy an exclusive tour of the Hemphill WTP, Atlanta’s oldest and largest water treatment facility. It’s a great opportunity to learn about the City’s water treatment process, operations, and procedures.
Adults must present a valid photo-ID for entry into the event.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the movie at 7 p.m.
