Congressional Candidate for Georgia's 7th District U.S. House of Representatives, Kathleen Allen (D), and her campaign are calling on young people ages 17 years and younger, for their help in creating a poster design for the #PosterVoteChallenge!
The Campaign seeks artistic youth to contribute their creative talents for the upcoming launch of the 'Access Your Vote Awareness Project' Social Media campaign, by creating a poster design for the project's launch six days later for National Voter Registration Day, September 26th,
Two submissions will be chosen for the 'Access Your Vote Awareness Project' launch*, and the youth artist of each submission will receive a prize for their design!
#PosterVoteChallenge goal is to engage with our community and young people instilling the importance of, and encouraging, active participation in our voting process at the age of 18.
“My first involvement in an election was at age 13 when I baked 500 bran muffins for a campaign fundraiser for Rep. Leon Panetta (D, CA-16). Being able to participate in something creatively, before you’re old enough to take part officially, is a fun way to get people excited about the electoral process and interactive with their representatives.”
