What began as a small BBQ festival in 2007 as a way to raise awareness of Georgia’s fastest growing college, Georgia Gwinnett, experienced tremendous growth year after year and continues to show no signs of slowing down!
Throughout the years, Rock’n Ribville has also served as a means of enhancing Lawrenceville’s sense of place, supporting and promoting local businesses and serving the community at-large. Rock’n Ribville now attracts more than 14,000 attendees – residents and visitors – to Lawrenceville annually and is dedicated to the growth and sustainability of Gwinnett’s Capital City.
The excitement continues in 2017, as Lawrenceville’s flagship event continues to grow in popularity, we are so grateful for the support and participation of the community, food and craft vendors, as well as the BBQ competition teams that make the event possible. As a result, we are proud to announce that Rock’n Ribville will be entering its 4th year as a sanctioned BBQ Competition by the largest competitive barbeque organization in the world, the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
