Billy Howard, an Atlanta photographer, will be in conversation with Randy Gue, curator of modern political and historical collections at the Rose Library. They will discuss “Billy Howard’s ‘Epitaphs for the Living,’” an exhibit in Woodruff Library’s Corridor Gallery of Howard’s photographs of people living with HIV/AIDS in the 1980s. The photographs are stark and yet moving, with messages that reveal hope and resilience from each photo subject handwritten on the portraits.
