The Atlanta Symphony Community Brass Ensemble (ASCBE) was formed two years ago by ASO Principal Tuba Michael Moore, with the urging and blessing of Maestro Spano. The ensemble is under the umbrella of the Atlanta Symphony Community Music School. Members of the ASCBE hail from all over the Metro area and range in age from 13 through 70. There are students as well as teachers, amateur brass players, and members of the ASO's Talent Development Program (TDP). The group meets on 6 Sunday evenings per session on the third floor of the Woodruff Arts Center.
