Widely regarded as one of Ireland’s most exciting young performers,Multi award winning Irish Tenor Emmet Cahill is no stranger to performing on stage both here in Ireland and in the United States.
Emmet was awarded a music scholarship in high school from 2003 -2008,studying voice,organ,piano and violin.
He then commenced opera studies at The Royal Irish Academy of Music Dublin
Emmet has been named 'The Most promising Young singer' at the RIAM as well as 'Ireland’s Most promising Young Tenor by the John McCormack society,Dublin.
He is a multiple prize winner of various classical music festivals throughout Ireland and has been chosen to perform The Irish National Anthem at Ireland’s National stadium on 3 occasions.
For the past 4 years Emmet has been touring the world as lead singer with irish Music phenomenon Celtic Thunder.During that time,he has performed to audiences of thousands throughout the United States,Canada,Ireland and Australia.Their albums have reached number 1 on the world music charts in both territories and have performed in such prestigious venues as the pentagon in Washington DC and Radio city music Hall,New York.
He was named Irish tenor or the year by the Irish music Association in the United States and has performed on television throughout North America and Australia.
Emmet just returned from his second solo tour of the United States,covering over 30 cities this year alone.
He has performed in numerous concerts at Ireland's National Concert hall and The Gaeity Theater Dublin.
