This panel discussion with a notable group of Emory leaders will focus on the many ways access to higher education has empowered women, why women’s history and voices matter, and what the future of Emory holds. Emory’s first female president, Claire Sterk, will give the opening remarks. A reception will follow the discussion, as will a tour of the exhibit “100 Years of Women at Emory: Progress Marked by Many Milestones,” which includes stories about Emory’s first female student and first female graduate.
