Free Calhoun Lecture- Saving Georgia's Wild Orchids

March 22, 2017
10:30 am
Atlanta Botanical Garden

Many native orchid species are on the decline due to habitat loss and illegal poaching, and so the Atlanta Botanical Garden has led a robust orchid conservation movement across the Southeast for more than a decade. Join Conservation Horticulture Manager Matt Richards as he takes an in-depth look at Georgia's native orchids, their relationship with pollinators, and the conservation efforts to protect orchids throughout the entire Southeast.

There are two free lectures: one at 10:30 a.m. (need to pre-register) and one at 7 p.m.

For the early lecture, please pre-register by emailing registrar@atlantabg.org.
