Join us for a medieval romp through boisterous and bawdy olde England. Drawing on the Celtic British influences of Geoffrey Chaucer's writing, this hilarious adaptation reintroduces the tales in forms ranging from classical to spaghetti Western!

Tales Presented:

Miller's Tale

Wife of Bath's Tale

Pardoner's Tale

Nun's Priest's Tale

Merchant's Tale

Reeve's Tale

Join the cast and crew members for a lively Question and Answer session on Sunday April 9 after the show!

Audience Note:

The plot of most of the stories in The Canterbury Tales centers on sex. While there is no nudity in the play, there are frequent moments of playful sexuality including sounds of comedic passion and a brief moment of erotic (clothed) dancing. Everything is performed tongue-in-cheek, no pun intended. Please take this into consideration if you are thinking of bringing children, sensible adults or a nun.

On April 7 at 7:30pm, The Resurgens Theatre Company Presents

John Webster's The Duchess of Malfi

Directed by Brent Griffin

Cruelly oppressed by her nefarious brothers, the widowed Duchess of Malfi seeks love in a world dripping with bloodlust and illicit desire. Dismembered bodies, werewolves, and a toxic Bible--experience them all through the soaring poetry and searing passions of Webster's tragedy of horrors. Dr. Brent Griffin returns to direct this macabre masterpiece, once again employing his innovative editorial techniques for this "original practices" production. or our Facebook page at
