Executive chef Spencer Gomez of Holeman and Finch hosts the second of his new gypsy chef series – a unique collaboration bringing in a guest chef for a weekend of inventive creation. Gomez partners with Zeb Stevenson, executive chef at Buckhead’s acclaimed Watershed, the two joining forces on Saturday, August 19, for a special dinner – the restaurants just blocks apart and two local favorites. Head to Holeman and Finch and revel in the featured menu for the evening – one fusing the two’s finesse for cutting-edge cuisine – and celebrating from-scratch dishes using pure, local ingredients. Stevenson’s combination of Southern tradition and artistry flows into Gomez’s modern take on vintage eats – a few featured dishes including poached shrimp with melon, savory rice pudding and fennel vinegar Nuoc Cham and pastured chicken drumstick with mole negro, sope and benne beans.
