Hurricane Matthew Service Project - Dock Removal
Join The Georgia Conservancy and Georgia State Parks for a Hurricane Matthew Service Project at Skidaway Island State Park on Sunday, March 26 from 1:00 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The focus of the service project will be to remove dock debris from the marsh and restore trails at Skidaway Island State Park. It will consist of heavy lifting and a lot of mud, but it should make for a fun and interesting day.
When: Sunday, March 26, 1 PM - 5PM.
Where: Skidaway Island State Park
Project Details: Cutting, hauling and removal of debris from campground areas
What to bring: Please bring plenty of water, long pant & shirt, and closed-toed shoes.
Weather: RAIN or SHINE. We will provide updates as the project date nears.
