We love Atlanta and the kids that make it so great! On Saturday, April 22, Live Thrive Atlanta is throwing a Kid’s Recycle Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the whole family to celebrate the important role that kids play each day in protecting our environment. Join us at the CHaRM facility (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials) for a day packed with recycle crafts, organic face painting, scavenger hunts, games, and food! Freddy the Falcon will be on site for photos from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., as well as Captain Planet! The South Atlanta Bike Shop will be on site rebuilding bikes, and artist Ann Dodys will be making cereal box angels. Let’s celebrate a bright future and teach today’s children to make a big difference through the simple action of awareness.
