For 48 hours, two teams of runners and walkers will hit the treadmills in a competition unlike any other. Running through the night, Team Stars and Team Stripes will compete to log the most miles and raise the most money. All proceeds will go towards resurfacing the track at Atlanta's Phoenix Park. This track served as the warm-up track at the 1996 Olympic Games. Donations will be used to restore the track, which has fallen into disrepair, in the hopes of making it a community resource and a potential future home to Kilometer Kids program practices.
You can text KKCC to 444-999 to donate now!
