National Council of Negro Women Harlem Renaissance Holiday Gala
We are excited to announce our 1st Annual Gala, “Harlem Nights; A Renaissance of Opportunity and Change”. This annual event is a critical component of our strategy aimed at securing our community’s support and passion for our mission . . . to advance opportunities and improve the quality of life for African American women, their families and communities.
On Saturday, December 10, 2016, we will come together to support this mission. The event will feature a three-course dinner, signature libations, a wonderfully unique silent auction, and dancing to the music of Phillippia & Blaze One Band. The night will also include some special surprises that highlight and celebrate Greater Atlanta NCNW & the artistic culture of Harlem. Ballethnic Dance Co. will perform a Harlem Renaissance themed dance accompanied by singer Adam L. McKnight. Honorees include: Dr. C. T. Vivian, Ingrid Saunders Jones, Mary Pat Hector, Hank Stewart, Lovette Russell and Beauty P. Baldwin. The attire is formal (long gowns with Harlem Nights elegance). Former Fox 5 News Anchor Lisa Rayam is host.
