22nd Century Media presents an evening of short films at Mark Squared Studios on July 23, 2017.
During the evening, writer/producer/director Natasha Niemi will premiere her latest short film, One Hand. One Hand is a silent film comprised of four vignettes about troubled souls. In life, each person only gets one hand of cards, but how each individual plays his/her hand can change the lives of so many other people. One Hand stars Thomas Pearson, Zach Douglas, Tonia Wilson, and Antonia McManus.
Also showing are Bridgett Ladd’s Dear Sister, Robinson Vil’s Superstition, and Natasha Niemi’s Man Wanted.
Dear Sister tells the story of estranged sisters Patrice and Trina Morrison who are forced to confront their long-standing feud since childhood. This powerful film stars Marvin Vance, ChelseyRai S. Standberry, Tracy Tolliver, Teresa Graves, and Tony Scott.
In Superstition, Sebastien and Otis find themselves in a quandary one fateful night, after finding a man who has been fatally injured in the street. They are mistakenly blamed for his death. Racing against time and facing one impossible challenge after another, Sebastien and Otis must battle supernatural forces and a ruthless Gangster at the same time. Either, they find a way out or pay the ultimate price, death. Jarvis Shaffer and Clifford Johnson star in Superstition.
Man Wanted is a hilarious comedy that describes Beth’s pursuit of the right man. Unfortunately, Beth is going to discover finding her ideal man isn't as easy as she hoped. The hilarious film stars Tiffany Kyle and Jan Bush in her award-winning performance as Helen, the man-hungry assistant. Man Wanted was directed by Bobby and Renee Peoples.
