Pine LakeFest is two days of art, music, great food and family-friendly fun on the shores of beautiful Pine Lake, Georgia. Now in its 17th year, this highly interactive festival showcases handmade art and crafts by 45 local and regional artist vendors and live music in a variety of styles. Activities include chalk drawing and sandcastle contests on the beach with prizes, street performers, kids’ crafts, and a pet show and parade. This year's special guests leading the pet parade will be “The Seed and Feed Marching Abominables.” Another highlight of the weekend will be FLOATZILLA, a floating parade with wildly decorated watercraft. The music stage will have a full schedule of bands and performers both days.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct.7, and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 8. Admission and parking are free. Pine Lake is located 12 miles east of Atlanta, between Decatur and Stone Mountain, off Rockbridge Road on Lakeshore Drive, Pine Lake, GA 30072.
