Join Doc Chey’s for the seventh annual Morningside Mile race and block party on Sunday, March 26. The fun starts at 12 until 2 p.m., with the one-mile race kicking off in Virginia-Highland and concluding in Morningside at Doc Chey’s Noodle House. 100% of the race profits will be donated to renovate the historic Virginia-Highland Fire Station 19. Doc Chey’s is only $15,000 away from reaching the community’s fundraising goal for station 19! After the race, enjoy a block party full of music, food provided by Doc Chey’s and the ninth annual Noodle Eating Contest! Prizes range from $25 gift cards for children to $100 gift cards for adults. Runners will receive either a complimentary SweetWater beer at Doc Chey’s or a sweet treat from Alon’s Bakery & Market when race number is presented.
