Spring Bird Migration at Kennesaw Mountain

April 30, 2017
8:00 am
Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park

Kennesaw Battlefield National Park is a well-known migratory hotspot, attracting large numbers of migrating warblers and other species each spring. We will begin our birding at the Visitors Center and then make our way up the mountain road to the top. You can expect to see tanagers; warblers such as Hooded, Blackpoll, Black-and-White, and Black-throated Green; vireos; raptors; resident woodpeckers. This location also offers the chance to observe Cerulean Warbler on occasion. This event is free to attend, but please register so that you receive all communications regarding this event.
