StarBenders present Friday Night Classic on Friday, March 31 at Avondale Towne Cinema in support of Atlanta’s Lost-N-Found Youth, a shelter for disadvantaged LGBTQ youth. Even in our own vibrantly diverse city of Atlanta, some LGBTQ youth are still rejected by their families and find themselves homeless, without a social support network, or in otherwise dangerous or unsafe situations. Lost-N-Found Youth assists these homeless youth from ages 13-25 in stabilizing their lives, including preparing them for permanent housing and stable employment. Friday Night Classic is intended to raise awareness for the shelter and its cause. The event is all-ages, free, and food will be provided. Performances begin at 8pm with Cutcard, followed by Hungry Girl, and headlined by StarBenders at 10pm. Attendees are encouraged to donate sanitary products (shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc.), gift cards for food, and clothing and household goods. Cash donations are also accepted. The event is sponsored by Institution Records and promises to be a fun-filled night that makes Fridays rad again!
