Concert Dates and Times:
Thursday, April 27, 8pm
Saturday, April 29, 8pm
Conductor Vasily Petrenko and Argentinian pianist Ingrid Fliter join the Atlanta Symphony to perform Mendelssohn's masterful Piano Concerto No. 1. The Orchestra brings to life the legend of Don Juan in Richard Strauss' tone poem, and will dazzle you with Dvorak's Symphony No. 8, a work that draws inspiration from one of the Czech composer's greatest loves, the cheery and lyrical folk music of his native Bohemia.
Thursday evening includes a pre-concert chamber music recital at 6:45pm in Atlanta Symphony Hall. Free for all ticket holders for the April 27 and 29, 2017 concerts.
