The 2017 Concerts by the Springs series will close out on September 10 with The Tams, who have been entertaining and thrilling audiences for over 40 years. World-renowned for their special blend of music that makes up the beach sound, The Tams entertain crowds around the globe nearly 300 days a year! They are known for such hits as "Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy", "What Kind of Fool", and "I've Been Hurt". The Tams have had 2 Gold Records, and 1 Platinum Single. Held one Sunday evening each month, May through September, the outdoor concert series is free and open to the public and has become a celebrated community tradition each summer. Concerts are held from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and are located at Heritage Green on The Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn, 6110 Blue Stone Road, Sandy Springs, Georgia. Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early to picnic with family and friends. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Blankets, lawn chairs, and coolers are welcomed; no outside tables permitted. Additional food will be available for purchase from specialty food vendors and food trucks. Beer, wine, sodas, and water will be available for sale, with proceeds benefiting Heritage Sandy Springs. Smoking is prohibited. No pets, except for special assist animals.
