Vickie Winans to Perform Benefit Concert at Big Bethel AME

Atlanta, GA, March 13, 2017 – The Atlanta North Georgia AME Women’s Missionary Society (WMS) is sponsoring a live benefit concert featuring renowned gospel vocalist Vickie Winans. The event will be held Sunday, March 26, 2017, 4:00 p.m. at Big Bethel AME church, 220 Auburn Avenue, Atlanta, GA. The concert benefits the WMS Christian outreach ministry to help support programs. General admission is $25.00, $15.00 for youth (6-17yrs) and free for 5 years and under. The Billboard-charting gospel performer is one of the best-known artists in gospel music with signature songs such as "How I Got Over," "Shake Yourself Loose," "As Long As I Got King Jesus" and "We Shall Behold Him" to her credit. Tickets can be purchased at: “Transforming lives, building communities, impacting the world”, is the mantra of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Women’s Society. The Atlanta North Georgia WMS has been active feeding the hungry, providing clothing for the needy, fighting sex trafficking and promoting education and voter registration. The organization has engaged missionary response drives for weather related disasters, HIV/AIDS programs and supported the building of a new clinic in Haiti.
