Enjoy a Georgia inspired afternoon with live music and an appetizer reception featuring locally produced foods, regional wines, fashions and an outstanding silent auction! This festive event also allows the Sjögren’s Syndrome Foundation (SSF) to educate the community and guests about this devastating and life-altering autoimmune disease. Sjögren’s affects more than four million Americans (upwards of 40,000 in Georgia), 90 percent of which are women, and an estimated 2.5 million are undiagnosed. Through the efforts of the SSF, diagnosis has been reduced from five to 2.8 years, and its work on increasing research, education and awareness continues. The Atlanta Chapter of the SSF is one of the oldest and largest in the United States. All proceeds will benefit the SSF.
