Each year, Atlanta’s corporate, philanthropic, educational, and healthcare communities lead a major fundraising and awareness campaign to increase the American Cancer Society's local impact on cancer from every angle. The Society’s annual signature black-tie event in Atlanta - Hope Ball - is presented by Delta Air Lines and the culmination of a yearlong effort. Community leaders will come together at this gala event on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m., at Flourish in Buckhead, to share stories of hope and recommit to invest in research, building upon 105 years of progress and supporting those with cancer in our community.
Funds raised during the evening's Hope Ball Mission Moment will directly impact the 20th Anniversary Major Renovation Campaign for Hope Lodge Atlanta, located on Emory University’s campus in Decatur. Hope Lodge offers a solution to cancer patients when the best treatment options are far from home. It’s not simply a free place to stay when undergoing treatment, but it’s a home away from home helping to alleviate the strain of travel and some of the financial and emotional burden faced by families.
Hope Ball guests will enjoy a true black-tie experience complete with silent and live auction, inspiring stories from leaders in our community, and dynamic live performances throughout the evening. This year's honoree is Gil West, Delta Air Lines Chief Operating Officer and American Cancer Society Board Member Alumnus.
Official event sponsorships begin at $10,000. Tables may be reserved starting at $5,000. Please visit hopeball.org for more information.
