Atlanta: Make sure you mark your calendars and get your tickets for Showcase, a fundraising event for the Voices of Note’s Atlanta Women’s Chorus and Gay Men’s Chorus. Showcase is being held on July 28, 2018 from 8 to 10 p.m. at OutFront Theatre, 999 Brady Ave. N.W., Atlanta GA 30318, and tickets are on sale now at www.voicesofnote.org. Tickets are $40. This event is a 21 and older event.
You won’t want to miss this one-night-only experience where members of each chorus WOW the audience with solo performances designed to thoroughly entertain and provide yet another perspective of the talents of each chorus.
Eve Campbell, Executive Director of Voices of Note, said of the event, “This is the second time our Voices of Note Choruses has come together to provide our audiences with a different view of our talented members. The last event was such a success, we felt like we needed to repeat it. Most of the time our audiences don’t realize the raw talent our choruses have, so this is a chance to let them in on what we, as an organization, already know. It’s very exciting!”
In a partnership forged last year, Showcase will be held in the beautiful and intimate Out Front Theatre, in West Midtown. This 200-seat theatre provides the perfect spot for Voices of Note audiences to feel every emotion and nuance of each song and performer.
“Story songs make you laugh, cry and make your heart smile — often in the same song. Showcase brings you an evening full of these kinds of songs sung by sixteen of Voices of Note's incredible vocalists. Sometimes all you need is a piano and a microphone to make a little magic,” Showcase Artistic Director, Christopher Repotski indicated. “The men and women of Voices of Note are working exceedingly hard to provide a one-of-a kind experience for our guests! This is an evening you don’t want to miss.”

About Voices of Note
The renowned Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus and Atlanta Women’s Chorus comprise the largest community music organization in the Southeast. Each chorus presents three annual concert experiences defined by musical excellence and a commitment to promoting equality for all people. Voices of Note, the not-for-profit organization governing our choruses, is a catalyst for social change. It provides an opportunity to be inspired, a journey to places in hearts and minds that have yet to be explored, and a voyage into the perspective of our neighbors, teachers, siblings and friends. Above all, Voices of Note believes that the most effective way to deliver the message of equality for all people is with music. Through music, we are changing hearts and minds. Both the AGMC and the AWC are members of GALA, the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses.
Programs for Voices of Note are supported in part by the Fulton County Arts Council and the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs. Major support is provided by Turner, Prima Atlanta, Macy’s and PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP). Additional support is provided by Brandon D Hunt Design, Dan Lax Media, Peachtree Battle Chiropractic, Saint Mark United Methodist Church, and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
