Led by Louisiana native Paul Gregoire, Roux du Bayou Cajun Band plays authentic Cajun, Zydeco, Swamp Pop, and Mardi Gras music. These talented musicians, based in Nashville, bring infectious energy to the dance floor. The band is a favorite of Atlanta dancers.
Master dance instructor and Country Western Hall of Fame member Bill Robinson will offer a free Two-Step dance lesson from 7-8 pm. Bill has traveled the world teaching, judging, and promoting Country & Western Dance. He is the Director of the Peach State Country Western Dance Festival and President of the Country Western Social Club (cwsc.org).
Special Intermediate/Advanced Cajun Dance class 4:30-6 pm; $15 with Bonnie Lunceford and Jim Bird. They will teach Cajun jig / jitterbug. Jim and Bonnie are among the best Cajun dance instructors in the Southeast and have been teaching for many years.
