OurSong presents its holiday concert “Love! It’s All Glorious”
Atlanta, October 16, 2018 : Come share in an evening of music about love and the Christmas
spirit. Our concert will open with For the Breath of Ecstasy , by Michael John Trotta, a seven
movement work about the depth and importance of love, featuring the beautiful poetry of Sara
Teasdale. This work also celebrates the 100th anniversary of Teasdale’s Pulitzer Prize for poetry.
In OurSong’s recent Queer Eye appearance, Mama Tammye reminded us of the importance of
love that does not judge or exclude. OurSong is honored to present the southeast premiere of
this important work. After intermission, enjoy a spirited mix of favorite holiday carols, some
updated with a sly sense of humor.
