January 28, 2018, 7:00 pm at Smith's Olde Bar, 1578 Piedmont Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30324, United States
My Brother Skyler comes to Atlanta and Smith's Olde Bar to play a benefit concert for the Make Mom Proud Project, a local theatre project that produces work highlighting important social issues or interesting cultural phenomena. In 2017, the Project brought two events to Atlanta: an anti-sexual assault edit of Shakespeare's Measure 4 Measure, and a staged reading of the notoriously bad Harry Potter fanfiction, My Immortal (which featured My Brother Skyler band member Skyler Brown). They have even more planned for this year, and all profits from this event will go toward making the Make Mom Proud Project's 2018 programming possible.
My Brother Skyler is a three piece band out of High Point, NC. They've shared the stage with national acts such as The Dirty Heads, Passafire, and The Movement. The cover a wide variety of songs ranging from Sublime to Green Day to The Beatles to Dr Dre. No matter what kind of music you like, you'll leave their show liking at least one song they play!
