A leading figure in medical and global health, Arthur Kleinman will deliver Agnes Scott College’s 2018 O.C. Hubert Lecture. In the lecture, Kleinman will consider the place of care in society, including global health, and will address the inherent confrontation between social justice and scarcity approaches to global health as they affect the ordinary lives of real people. The lecture is hosted by Agnes Scott’s Department of Public Health and is a part of the Hubert Scholars Program in Public Service. This event is free and open to the public. Reservations encouraged; RSVP by visiting the event website.
