Kenneth “Kenny” Banks Jr., The Artist, is a title that has been in the making his entire life. He began playing the piano at seven years old. He was raised in the church in Columbus, Ohio by two musician parents. His mother was an influential source of inspiration. His father, Kenneth Banks Sr., began training him in music theory, jazz, and composition. Kenny has called Atlanta home since he moved here in 2009 to pursue his music career. Noted for his blended technique in mixing jazz and gospel, Kenny developed his unique sound by finding the good in all music. He began playing piano at St. Paul AME and has played for the likes of President Bill Clinton, Ohio Mayor Michael Coleman, and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.
