Sainte Jane is a new Americana duo composed of singer/songwriter Lauren St. Jane and Jeremy Ezell (frontman of Atlanta band The Well Reds). Born out of the recording of Lauren's 2015 release, "Running Around", co written with Angie Aparo and featuring Jeremy on Vocals, the two began performing together early 2015 when Ezell accompanied L.S.J. for performances at Seaside's 30A Songwriter's Festival (alongside the likes of Jason Isbell and Glen Phillips). Together their new songs are hauntingly familiar, drawing inspiration from classic songwriters Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, and Townes Van Zandt, with all the attitude and swagger of more recent greats like Ryan Adams and Grace Potter. Heart-wrenching inspiration, prolific songwriting and a desperate dedication to the craft of Americana combine to ignite the fire behind their unforgettable live performance. In both song and sound, Sainte Jane is a collective drink that goes down smooth leaving a beckoning burn for more - a classic country shot with a modern Americana buzz.
