Thai massage is an ancient bodywork that is believed to have its origins in ayurveda. Thai massaging techniques share similarities with Traditional Chinese Medicine. And it is one of the branches of thai yoga.
Thai massage practitioners use feet, elbows, knees, palms and hands to provide a rejuvenating Thai massage experience.Unlike, other massage types, these sessions are performed fully clothed on a mat. So there is no need to bring in any towels. This workshop is dedicated to teach you massage techniques in the side-lying- supine and seated positions. A whole day would be dedicated to just one position so that every participant can easily learn all techniques associated with massage sessions. The synchronized massage movements in this workshop would help you connect with yourself better.
The workshop would also have a small section dedicated to chair massage techniques on the request of our previous participants. Where you will be able to learn chair massage techniques in the supervision of professional massage therapists.
The workshop though is not for complete beginners. You need to at least have a basic understanding of massage therapy or human anatomy.
The workshop has been approved by the (NCBTMB) National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Approved Provider # 453849-22
