A new generation of Atlanta designers are inspiring trends on the runway in The Art Institute of Atlanta’s Catwalk for a Cause fashion show. The yearly show represents the effort and creativity of Ai Atlanta’s Fashion Design students and faculty.
The 2017 show will feature the work of student designers. The garments range from formal wear, to casual summer looks, including swim, contemporary ready to wear and theatrical costume design. Every aspect of the production – from marketing to décor and promotion of the runway collections – has been created from concept to execution by students and faculty members
The free fashion show will benefit Global Paint for Charity. All of the donations from the show will go to the charity organization. The nonprofit recovers recycled paint to update homes for seniors, churches, schools and other organizations. Their efforts have changed lives and transformed communities throughout the world.
