Justin Bozung is a freelance writer and researcher who has contributed to such film magazines as Fangoria, Videoscope, Paracinema and Shock Cinema. He has contributed to several books on Stanley Kubrick including the well-received Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining: Studies in the Horror Film (Centipede Press, 2015). Bozung is the editor of the new volume The Cinema of Norman Mailer: Film is Like Death (Bloomsbury Academic, 2017), an archivist for Project Mailer, the host of the bi-monthly Norman Mailer Society Podcast, as well as an executive board member sitting on the Norman Mailer Society. He is presently completing work on the official biography of influential independent filmmaker Frank Perry as well as assembling an anthology of new perspectives on the work of Michael Bay.
