Soldier Ride®, a Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) rehabilitative bicycling program, is coming back to Stone Mountain. Soldier Ride is more than just a multi-day bicycle ride – it empowers warriors physically and mentally to better manage visible and invisible wounds of war. For 15 years, this program has traveled the country, connecting groups of local wounded veterans to ride together as units, just like in their military service.
At the start of every Soldier Ride, warriors are fitted with adaptive cycling equipment to accommodate injuries and make the ride as comfortable as possible. Thanks to generous donors, WWP offers all its programs and services, including Soldier Ride, free of charge to the warriors, family members, and caregivers it serves.
