Laura Silverman received her MFA in writing for children from the New School. She loves books, dogs, and bubble baths - okay, and quite a few people too. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Her debut novel, Girl Out of Water, was released May 7, 2017.
Rachael Allen lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, two children, and two sled dogs. In addition to being a YA writer, she's a mad scientist, a rabid Falcons fan, an expert dare list maker, and hugger. Author of A Taxonomy of Love (released January 9), The Revenge Playbook, and 17 First Kisses.
Lauren Karcz is a fan of new books, old dogs, long sentences, Broadway shows, adverbs, and wandering art museums. She's a professional language nerd, having worked as an ESL teacher, a language test developer, and now as a writer. Lauren lives with her family in Atlanta. Her debut novel, The Gallery of Unfinished Girls, was released July 25, 2017.
Gina Ciocca graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in English, but in her mind, she never left high school. She relocated from Connecticut to Georgia, where she lives with her husband and son. When she's not reading or writing, you can find her taking long walks around the lake in her neighborhood. Her latest novel, A Kiss in the Dark, will be released March 6th.
Marie Marquardt is an author of young adult novels, a college professor, and an immigration advocate. She is a proud member of the We Need Diverse Books team and lives in a busy household in Decatur, Georgia with her spouse, four children, a dog and a bearded dragon. Her second novel, The Radius of Us, reflects the experience of Latin American teenagers fleeing gang violence and seeking asylum in the United States.
