Grant Park is Atlanta's oldest park and was donated to the City by Lemuel Pratt Grant in 1882. Visitors will enjoy learning about the park’s trees and some of its historic and architectural highlights, including the Lion Bridge and the Milledge fountain, both recently restored by the Grant Park Conservancy. The Conservancy also cares for the park’s tree canopy (including its many oaks, elms, maples and magnolias) with ongoing canopy and park restoration efforts. (across from 468 Sydney St. NE.) Street parking is available.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhat to Bring and Wear: Reusable water bottle, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, layers of clothing, hats/sunglasses, and are recommended.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTerrain, Incline, and Length: The tour is about 2 miles of total walking with some uneven walkways and steep grades.\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eRegistration is required for this program and is through the Atlanta Preservation Center found.
